Grace Strong

Grace is the co-chair of the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) sub-group. Since 2019 she has held the role of Director of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Violence Reduction Network (VRN) and was responsible for setting up the Unit and programme of work.

Prior to this, Grace had worked in probation services for over 20 years, initially working as a practitioner and team manager in a range of settings before moving into senior management. Alongside undertaking various Head of Service roles, Grace also held the regional thematic lead for developing bespoke services for young adults and trauma-informed practice both of which she continues to champion and pursue in her current role.
