Peter Jones has over 30 years lived and professional experience in and around the justice system. Professional experience spanning an eclectic range of organisations and business types from charities, private sector and statutory organisations. An experienced Senior Leader with a proven track record of directing national portfolio’s of operational services, business development and bidding activities and the mobilisation of new services.

A former prison Governor Grade within the private sector estate with operational experience of leading Offender Management, Resettlement and Psychosocial Drug and Alcohol Teams. Overseas justice work includes International Consultant and UK Expert working with The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and The British Council as part of the Supporting Young Offending Colombians (SYOC) project, initiatives to support young people to exit armed drug gangs. Charity Trustee supporting the families of prisoners and Board Member of a Multi-Academy Trust. Chartered Manager, Chartered Fellow and Master of Business Administration (MBA). A Butler Trust Award winner for innovation in delivering drug and alcohol services in prisons and a member of the Global Pulse Award Team for operational leadership of the Through the Gate PbR Pathfinder at HMP & YOI Doncaster. A strategic thinker with a passion to support vulnerable people through the design of high quality and impactful service delivery that makes a genuine difference and measurable impact at the front line. Above all, a normal bloke from Barnsley who started at the bottom!
